Study of Breast Tumors by Thermography, 67Gallium Citrate and ECAT Using 13N-Ammonia

1984
Thermography is a useful tool for the diagnosis of breast tumors. The thermographic criteria of a malignant tumor are hyperthermia and vascular anarchism. Thermography is a non-invasive technique and no ionising radiation is needed for the examination of the patient. However a number of malignant tumors are “cold” without vascular anarchism and are not diagnosed by this method. For this reason we also investigated other atraumatic methods.
