Regional Economic Difference of Counties and Harmonious Development in Jilin Province

At first,the index system is established by using AHP method to evaluate the regional economic difference of counties in Jilin province.After weights of indexes are computed through ordering to AHP,the difference of comprehensive economic level in 49 areas(cities,counties) is studied with the data in 2005.Based on the results,Jilin province is divided into five types of economic areas,and the characteristics of regional difference of counties is analyzed.Thirdly,the causes of the regional difference are studied in respects of natural condition,history,policy,location,market etc.In the end,several measures about harmonious development of each kind of counties are put forward,such as improving spatial structure of urban system though cultivating big cities,regional economic growing points and perfecting point—axis and network system;adjusting industrial structure according to regional comparative advantages;intensifying financial support to the backward counties and enhancing regional talent accumulation.
