15N INEPT spectra of some perfluoroazines

Natural abundance 15N NMR spectra were measured for pentafluoropyridine and five other perfluorodiazines. The spectra were obtained using the INEPT pulse sequence with 19F as the source of polarization. The nitrogen nuclei are shielded by approximately 56–97 ppm with respect to the hydrocarbon analogues, and the 2J(NF) values appear to be approximately 52 Hz.
