Tunnel Sprayer for Dwarf Fruit Trees

A tunnel sprayer was developed for dwarf fruit trees. Spray deposit studies with various delivery devices revealed that the most uniform deposition within the tree and on both leaf surfaces was achieved by using two pairs of opposing cross-flow fans with hydraulic nozzles. The tunnel sprayer showed significant drift reduction potential over a commercial air-blast sprayer.
