The invention discloses sulfohalide phosphor Ba(2-2m-2n-2x-y)Sr(2m)Ca(2n)Eu(2x)MyZnS(3-2y)X(2y), wherein M is one or two of Mg , Ca , Sr and Ba , X is one or two of F , Cl , Br and I , m is larger than or equal to 0 and smaller than or equal to 0.5, n is larger than or equal to 0 and smaller than or equal to 0.5, the sum of m and n is larger than or equal to 0 and smaller than or equal to 1.0, x is larger than 0 and smaller than or equal to 0.05, and y is larger than 0 and smaller than or equal to 0.1. The preparation method of the sulfohalide phosphor is characterized in that an alkaline earth metal oxide (alkaline earth metal hydroxide and alkaline earth metal carbonate), an alkaline earth metal halide, zinc sulfide and europium oxide are used as raw materials, and a raw material mixture is calcined in a high-temperature furnace to have a metathesis reaction under the protection of inert gas N2 or Ar. The red phosphor mainly excites a spectrum green light zone, the peak value is about 550 nm, the emission wavelength is located in a red light zone, and the wave crest is about 650 nm. The red phosphor can be applied to agricultural solar conversion such as manufacturing of light-conversion agricultural films, light-conversion glass, light-conversion spray solutions and the like.
