The Dutch Programme on Efficient Motors and Drives

With support from a Dutch demonstration programme, technology for efficient drives is now being widely used in Dutch industry. A series of succesful applications and an evaluative study on reliability contribute towards better appreciation of the many benefits of well designed electric motor and drive systems. The programme approach also strengthens attention for further technology improvement, as well as for more collaborative action of market parties in improving overall (drive) system design and performance.
