Unified Diagnostic and Surgical Approach for Unstable Angina

Abstract Aortocoronary bypass immediately following catheterization was utilized for management of unstable angina in 77 of 100 consecutive patients; 23 had no operation (10, normal catheterization findings; 6, insufficient disease; 6, poor anatomy; 1, operation delayed). Graft patency was 95% in restudied patients. There were no late deaths and 1 hospital death in the entire group.
