Axial Location Analysis of 1000 MW Unit Low-Pressure Rotor Rubbing Fault Based on ANSYS

By using the method of rubbing axial positioning which is based on ANSYS and the vibration vector analysis, this paper has numerically calculated the vibration problem caused by the rubbing of rotating machines of a 1000MW unit's LP rotor. The calculating result shows that rubbing between the rotor surface and static element will produce lots of heat, which precedes thermal bending of the rotor. And in this sense, the variation caused by thermal bending of a rotor can be treated as rotor unbalance. The calculating result of this paper is compared with a real value collected in site. And it shows that they coincides with each other, that is to say the method used in this paper has adequate accuracy and can be used as reference for practice in site rapid location of the rubbing position.
