Method for recycling indium from indium containing material produced during zinc smelting

2016
The invention discloses a method for recycling indium from an indium containing material produced during zinc smelting. The method for recycling indium from an indium containing material produced during zinc smelting comprises the following steps: carrying out reduction leaching on the indium containing material so as to obtain reduction leach liquor; precipitating indium through carrying out neutralization and hydrolysis on the reduction leach liquor by utilizing a limestone powder emulsion so as to obtain an iron-containing solution and first gypsum dregs rich in indium; under acid conditions, leaching indium from the first gypsum dregs so as to obtain a solution rich in indium and second gypsum dregs; reducing Cu in the solution rich in indium into elementary Cu, and reducing Fe into Fe so as to obtain reduced liquor; utilizing charcoal powder to carry out purification and impurity removal treatment on the reduced liquor so as to obtain a purified solution; and extracting the purified solution. The method for recycling indium from the indium containing material produced during zinc smelting of the embodiment has the advantages of being free of arsenic hydride or emulsion phenomena, being high in indium recycling rate, being simple in process, being low in production cost and the like.
