The assessment of the reparative potentials in diseases of the oral mucosa

: Studies of blood and salivary fibronectin levels and the total biochemical status have revealed poor reparation potentialities of the body in the patients with various diseases of the buccal mucosa coursing along with somatic diseases (cardiovascular and gastrointestinal) in the remission stage. Bearing in mind a significant role of fibronectin in the reparation processes, the authors suggest local fibronectin therapy as part of combined treatment for buccal mucosa diseases.
