Phaeohyphomycosis caused by Coniothyrium.

2004 
A 49-year-old immunosuppressed heart transplant recipient developed a superficial and subcutaneous granulomatous infection caused by Coniothyrium. The patient responded to a combination of surgical excision and antifungalagents. We review phaeohyphomycotic infections including this second report of a Coniothyrium infection.
