Novel process for preparing statin compound or its salt and intermediate used therein

PURPOSE: A novel method for preparing a statin compound or salt thereof are provided to simply and efficiently prepare a novel intermediate. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing a statin compound of chemical formula 1 and salt thereof comprises: a step of reacting a compound of chemical formula 2 with a compound of chemical formula 3 to obtain a trans-olefin compound of chemical formula 4; a step of reacting the compound of chemical formula 4 with a compound of chemical formula 5 to obtain oxo compound of chemical formula 6; a step of reducing oxo group of the compound of chemical formula 6 in asymmetry to obtain a syn-diol of chemical formula 7; a step of hydrolyzing the compound of chemical formula 7.
