Influence of inductive heating on the corrosion resistance of thin-walled chromonickel-steel pipe

2011
The influence of inductive heat treatment (by 2.4-kHz current) on the properties of straight-seam steel 1.4301 pipe is investigated. The influence of heat treatment on the resistance of pipe samples to intercrystallite corrosion, stress-corrosion cracking, and pitting corrosion is investigated, for samples that are motionless and samples passing through the inductors.
