Мемуарная литература как источник для исследований по истории органов военной юстиции последней трети XIX – начала XX веков

The article, using separate examples of memoir literature, authors of which are both representatives of the Russian military justice bodies who served in the last third of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries, and their contemporaries from among compatriots and foreigners, reveals the importance of this source for studying the history of military judicial institutions Russian imperial army. The subject of study is the work of civil and military lawyers, as well as travelers from other countries, whose literary heritage provides extensive material for the formation of a holistic picture of the historical period under study.
