A composition for shielding electromagnetic radiation comprising a support, a plurality of metal nanowires and a plurality of nanoparticles. The plurality of metal nanowires are dispersed in the carrier, and the proportion is 1 to 95 weight percent of the electromagnetic shielding composition. The plurality of nanoparticles are dispersed in the carrier, with a proportion of 0.5 to 60 weight percent of the electromagnetic shielding composition.
