Radiologic Evaluation for Postoperative Groin Pain

Evaluation of chronic groin pain after herniorrhaphy is a difficult task that requires appropriate imaging evaluation: ideally, magnetic resonance with dynamic Valsalva sequences. Inguinodynia has been linked to mesh-based repair of hernias. This chapter discusses the various mesh-related complications that can act as generators of chronic pain, as well as their imaging features.
