Inserting type flowmeter system

2007
An insertion flow meter system is provided to measure more accurate flow rate by inserting a guide pipe with a flow meter in a transfer pipe so as to secure proper fluid rate and straight distance. An insertion flow meter system comprises a flow meter for measuring the flow rate of fluid in a transfer pipe(50), an inlet guide pipe(40a) to guide the fluid transferred toward the transfer pipe into the flow meter, and an outlet guide pipe(40b) to eject the fluid passing through the flow meter to the transfer pipe. The inlet guide pipe includes a support member(46) preventing drooping and vibration of a guide pipe. The outlet guide pipe includes a roller(43) for easy insertion into the transfer pipe. A bell mouth(49) is installed on the inlet and outlet guide pipes to prevent vortex or turbulence of fluid and maintain uniform stream.
