Case 33-2018: A 57-Year-Old Man with Confusion, Fever, Malaise, and Weight Loss

A Man with Confusion, Fever, Malaise, and Weight Loss A 57-year-old man with a history of tobacco smoking presented with confusion, cough, fever, and unintentional weight loss. An evaluation revealed consolidation in the left lower lobe and emboli to the brain, heart, spleen, kidney, and lungs. A diagnostic test was performed.
