CLINIC ANALYSIS OF DETECTING INFANT HEARING LOSS AND ITS EARLY INTERVENTION

2010
[Objective] To analyze the detection method for deaf infants and efficacy of early intervention.[Methods] We selected 162 cases of children with varying degrees of hearing loss in our hospital from April 2006 to September 2009,and divided into intervention and non-intervention groups, and controls were also selected. The hearing threshold and devel-opmental quotients DQ.[Results] The average hearing threshold of intervention group after the trial was(16.46 ± 3.79)dB HL,had significant difference when compared with non-intervention group(P﹤0.05),and showed no significant differ-ence when compared with the control group(P ﹥ 0.05),and non-intervention group showed significant difference when compared with the intervention and control group(P﹤0.05).The value of language development quotient DQ and hearing threshold in the groups showed similar results.[Conclusion] Early detection of Infant hearing could detect hearing loss and determine the extent of deaf, and children with moderate to severe hearing should be immediately treated to improve hearing and language development.
