Evaluation of operational efficiency of technological lines of primary processing of flax rotted straw

2010
Comparative analysis of crushing-and-scutching machines of Russian and Belgian production is made; work efficiency of technological lines of different origin is analyzed. Shortcomings of Russian aggregate MTA-2L (MTA-1L) are enumerated; great numbers of manual operations are noticed. Belgian equipment 'Van Dommele' is analyzed; high productivity level and low energy consumption is presented. Main economic indexes (productive capacity, energy input, labour input and prime cost) are calculated for both equipment identities. The following conclusions are made: high quality of raw material determine work efficiency of the equipment; profitability of flax-producing enterprises, working with 'Van Dommele' equipment is provided while producing of 6000 tons of flax rotted straw per year; during re-equipment of flax producing plants application of native machines along with foreign high-technological machine details is the optimal way of modernization.
