Struggle for the Georgia coast : 18th-century Spanish retrospective on Guale and Mocama

By 1739, a record of the existence and demise of the Spanish Mission provinces of Guale and Mocama during the late 17th century had been assembled. This volume contains translations of these documents, as well as an overview of Spain's gradual withdrawal from the Georgia coast.
