Remote magnetic sensing of people
2003
Abstract This paper summarises recent work by a number of authors on, principally, the use of the super quantum interference device (SQUID) magnetometer in detecting and measuring magnetic fields from human subjects. It develops the argument that there will be an increasing desire for more ‘magnetic’ information about the human body in the future. The desire for this information will need to further the development of modern magnetic sensor techniques to compete with the now well-established SQUID magnetometer technology.
