Sulphones from difficult-to-extract high-viscosity crude oils of Tatarstan

Organosulphur compounds of the medium (diesel) fractions of difficult-to-extract high-viscosity crude oils have been oxidized to sulphones. The composition of the sulphones obtained has been analysed. After separation of the sulphones, 80-100% desulphurization is achieved, with a reduction in the sulphur content to 0.5% or less.
