Mesquite is one of the most important forest resources in northern Mexico, constituting an important part of the national flora and its great importance to the inhabitants of the arid and semiarid regions. This paper shows a volumen and wood weight table obtained in m 3 which can be used in the area of influence. This technique was based on dimensional analysis, measuring the tres readily available, which enables farmers, foresters and institutions, rely on production parametersand volumen of timber (wood) for the rational and sustainable use of natural populations of mesquite, in turn providing protection and conservation of the environment. The evaluation was conducted in Ejido San Antonio de la Sierrecilla, municipality of Mazapil, Zacatecas.
