SPECIFIC HEATS OF RUBIDIUM AND CESIUM BETWEEN 1.3 AND 12 K

1962
The specific heats of rubidium and cesium were measured at 1.3 to 12 deg K, and Debye THETA values for the two metals were calculated from the data. Each metal exhibited a maximum and a minimum THETA value in this temperature range. For rubidium, the minimum O was 50 deg at 3.3 deg K, and the maximum THETA was 56 deg at 9 deg K. For cesium, the minimum THETA was 36 deg at 2.0 deg K, and the maximum THETA was 45 deg at 9 deg K. (auth)
