The application comparison of two kinds of random-dot stereopsis inspection methods in clinical work

Objective To compare the difference of two kinds of random-dot stereopsis inspection methods.Methods Using the "Stereovision Inspection graph" which was developed by Yah Shao-ming and the "Binocular Stereovision Inspection graph" which was developed by Jin Gui-chang,the stereopsis acuity examination was performed to a group of 5～7 year-old children whose vision and the eye position were normal under the same environment.Results Two groups of 128 children were examined using two kinds of inspection methods and the matching t-test was done to the results.There were statistical significant differences between two groups(t=12.49,P ＜ 0.01).Conelusions Two different stereovision inspection graphs used in this study to examine the children's stereopsis acuity showed significant differences between two testing results.
