Discussion on the Cultural Consciousness in College English Education

This paper discusses the importance and necessity of the cultural consciousness in college English teaching and learning. Being one of characteristics of English intensive and extensive reading materials, the cultural consciousness reflects the political, economic, historical, geographical, literary and the present social survey in the related English speaking countries. It is very important and practical for us to have the cultural consciousness practice on purpose in the course of English teaching and learning.
