Contrast-enhanced MR imaging of hand and finger joints in patients with early rheumatoid arthritis: do we really need a full dose of gadobenate dimeglumine for assessing synovial enhancement at 3 T?

The results of our study show that in patients with rheumatoid arthritis, it is possible to use only half (0.05 mmol per kilogram of body weight) the standard dose of gadobenate dimeglumine without a loss of most relevant diagnostic information at 3-T MR imaging.
