The invention discloses a perforated non-woven cloth and a preparation method thereof. The perforated non-woven cloth consists of at least one fiber layer, wherein a plurality of through holes are formed in each fiber layer, and the total area of the through holes is equal to 10-80% of the total area of the perforated non-woven cloth; an opening of each through hole is flush with the surface of the perforated non-woven cloth; the density of through holes on the perforated non-woven cloth is 3-100 through holes per square centimeter; the fiber density of the edge of each through hole is similar to or same with the fiber density of other areas of the perforated non-woven cloth; the fibers are arranged around the through holes, and only the fiber surface layers are adhered. The perforated non-woven cloth has the advantages that the non-woven cloth will not be cut into stiff ends at the edge areas of the through holes, or can be be melted to form a fiber-dense area or membranization area; the fibers are only arranged around the through holes, and the fiber surfaces are melted and mutually adhered, so that the damage to the softness of the non-woven cloth due to perforating is avoided, and the particle feel caused by perforating is reduced.
