Panorama da Poesia em Santa Catarina: 1940-2000 (Panorama of Poetry in Santa Catarina, Brazil: 1940-2000)

Portuguese Abstract: De modo generico e possivel dividir a poesia escrita em Santa Catarina em tres grandes blocos: o dos anos 40/50, o dos anos 60/70 e o dos anos 80/90. Sao tres geracoes distintas, apesar de muitos nomes estarem se propagando pelos anos e atravessando, e mesmo inseminando, geracoes seguintes. Neste texto penso em tentar discutir os principais tracos que caracterizam esses blocos, e como eles estao relacionados com o que vinha acontecendo num panorama maior, que abrange a poesia em todo o pais. Com certeza essa discussao traz embutida uma grande carga de erros, de intuicoes equivocadas, mas pretende refletir sobre um grupo de escritores, muitos dos quais ativos, e entao trazer de novo o debate, para que nao fique confinado a alguns sofas ou mesas de bares. English Abstract: In a generic way it is possible to divide poetry written in Santa Catarina, Brazil, into three great blocks: that of the years 1940/50, the years 60/70 and the years 80/90. They are three distinct generations, though many names are spreading through the years and through, and even inseminating, subsequent generations. In this text I try to discuss the main features that characterize these blocks, and how they are related to what was happening in a larger panorama, which covers poetry throughout the country. Surely this discussion brings with it a great deal of errors and misguided intuitions, but it intends to reflect on a group of writers, many of whom are active, and then bring the debate back, so that it is not confined to some sofas or pub tables .
