High-sulfur additive for transmission oils

The results of synthesis of a high-sulfur antiscuff and antiwear additive for transmission oils are reported. A major process scheme for production of the additive is proposed and the possibility of using it for fabrication of oils corresponding in quality to group TM-3.4 is investigated.
