Composition for removing oral odor

PURPOSE: To obtain a composition for removing oral odor, capable of effectively suppressing oral odor caused by offensive odor, etc., of CH 3 SH by synergistic action by combinedly using a solvent extract of Salvia officianalis L. and 1-menthol. CONSTITUTION: The objective composition contains extract of Salvia officianalis L. with a non-polar solvent or mixed solvent of the non-polar solvent and a polar solvent and 1-menthol in a weight ratio of the former of 0.0005-5%, preferably 0.05-2% and the latter of 0.01-2%, preferably 0.05-1%. As 1-menthol, any of menthol isolated from an essential oil, synthesized menthol and an essential oil containing 1-menthol may be used. COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
