Kollimationsverfahren and apparatus for detectors

There are methods and devices for the collimation of the detectors in an imaging system is provided. An imaging system (400) includes a radiation source (415) which is set up to project a radiation (416) from a focal spot (262) onto an object, and a plurality of radiation detectors (420) disposed around at least a portion of the object (422) are arranged around. The plurality of radiation detectors (420) detect radiation received (416) along one of the focal spot (262) to the plurality of detectors (420) projected path. The imaging system further includes a plurality of collimators (418) between the object (422) and the plurality of detectors (420) are arranged, wherein said collimators (418) have a tapered (308, 264, 266) configuration.
