Hinweise zur Funktionsdauer der Mitglieder im Universitätsrat sowie im Hochschulrat

The relevant regulations of both the Universities and Higher Education Acts provide a temporal limitation with respect to the term of office of members of the central regulating and control bodies of universities and teacher training colleges. The following short paper states the reasons for temporal limitation of the term of office and explores the question as to whether, depending on the way in which each person is appointed, a possible extension of this term is legal.
