El Paleolítico de Río Odiel I (Aljaraque, Huelva): contribución al estudio de su definición estratigráfica

espanolEn este trabajo presentamos el resultado del sondeo arqueologico realizado en el yacimiento Rio Odiel I, situado en las terrazas fluviales cuaternarias de la margen derecha del rio, cerca de Corrales (Aljaraque, Huelva), antes de su desembocadura en el Oceano Atlantico. Se han documentado en posicion estratigrafica varios niveles con industria litica del Paleolitico Medio que, por sus caracteristicas, se pueden datar en el Pleistoceno Superior. Tambien se han documentados en superficie artefactos liticos atribuibles al horizonte de las "Industrias tardias de cantos tallados del litoral onubense", de cronologia finipaleolitica EnglishIn this paper we present the results of archaeological work in the Rio Odiel 1 site, located in the quaternary fluvial terraces of the right margin of the river, near Corrales, in the municipality of Aljaraque (Huelva, Spain), before his river mouth in the Atlantic Ocean. It contains several levels with lithic artifacts of the Middle Palaeolithic which, by its nature, can be dated in the Upper Pleistocene. Also litic devices attributable to the horizon of the "Delayed Industries of devices carved of the Huelva coast" have been documented, chronology of the final Palaeolithic.
