Title: THE KUIPER BELT COLOR CONTROVERSY RETURNS

Twenty years have passed since the discovery of the Kuiper Belt and the mechanisms responsible for the surface color distributions of Centaurs and Kuiper Belt Objects, which has lead to fruitful controversies, remains to be answered. We will discuss the color distribution of these objects as a function of their absolute magnitudes, which is roughly equivalent to discuss it as a function of their sizes, based on a compiled database of 253 objects, of which 10 are new measurements. We find an interesting new interpretation for the bimodal color behavior of Centaurs and other relevant patterns among Kuiper Belt Objects. A must­see if you like controversy.
