The invention discloses a fast separating mechanism for partition plates on a partition plate reel. The fast separating mechanism comprises an L-shaped separating supporting plate, wherein a spring is connected with the front end of a bottom edge of the separating supporting plate; a separating needle is arranged perpendicularly above the left side of the top end of a side edge of the separating supporting plate; a separating guide wheel is arranged on the right side of the top end of the side edge of the separating supporting plate; and a rotating shaft of the separating supporting plate is arranged perpendicularly in a position where the side edge of the separating supporting plate is connected with the bottom edge. The fast separating mechanism can prevent the partition plates on the partition plate reel from being stuck together and being difficult to separate, and guarantees continuous supply of the partition plates for a plate wrapping machine.
