Study and Preparation of Ultrafine Silver Powder by Microemulsion

The preparation methods of ultrafine silver powder by reaction of oxidation-reduction in microemulsion were investigated. The ultrafine silver powders can be prepared with H 2O 2 as reducing agent. The size of silver powder was determined by TEM?WAXD and SEM.The results show that the diameter of silver powder is about 6～15 μm in emulsion with PVA as emulsifying agent and the ultrafine silver powders with 10～20 nm diameter can be gained in microemulsion with OP as emulsifying agent.
