Development of Multi-functional Grounding Resistance Meter Based on DSP

In order to meet high-precision ground resistance testing requirements and address the different external environment, which led to the problem about measurement difficulties or difficult to measure, this paper designs a new type of portable multi-function digital ground resistance testing device. The device not only retains the 2-pole, 3-pole, 4-pole and non-rod grounding resistance measurement method, but also provides a new measurement method with more accuracy than the traditional grounding resistance measurement method, named selective grounding resistance measurement method. Therefore the measurement instrument has the advantages of multi-function and high accuracy which satisfies the needs of engineering and makes the instrument valuable.
