IMPLEMENTASI NILAI BUDAYA JAWA PADA KEGIATAN PAMSIMAS DI JORONG GIRI MAJU KABUPATEN PASAMAN BARAT

This study aims to answer any cultural values that can be implemented in the Pamsimas program so as to encourage community participation in the success of the program in Jorong Giri Maju, West Pasaman Regency. It is understood that a community's success and failure in implementing a development program is largely determined by the orientation of the cultural values of the community. This study itself uses a qualitative approach to the type of case study, using methods of observation, interviews and documentation. The research findings indicate that the results of the implementation of development programs in this research area are influenced by local cultural values, namely the value of togetherness, the value of cooperation, the value of compliance and the value of clarity. The success of the Pamsimas program in Jorong Giri Maju is due to the Jorong Giri Maju community being able to implement their cultural values well so that these cultural values can become a force to encourage community participation in Pamsimas activities. This is more because the community has its own cultural value orientation, which is the orientation of Javanese cultural values .
