Autotrasplante de germenes de terceros molares: estudio prospectivo del post-operatorio en ocho pacientes

2009
Autogenous tooth transplantation is frecuently used in cases of dental trauma, however his use in tooth loosening has been displaced by osseointegrated implants. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the immediate postoperative period of the third molar germs transplantation measuring clinical and radiographic signs. In this study we made eigth autotransplant of immature third molars, all of them with successful results in three months of follow-up. The variables we evaluated were bleeding, mobility, marginal osseous level, perirradicular pathology and root development. The bleeding and mobility were clinically measured and statistically demostrated those variables diminished in time, and are directly in relation. Others variables was measured by radiographs, with no change of osseous level and root development and no evidence of perirradicular pathology. We concluded that autotransplantation of inmature third molars is an a feasible alternative of treatment for loosen teeth.
