SCANNED LASER SPOT PHOTOCURRENT RESPONSE STUDIES OF SURFACE MODIFICATIONS OF CDSE THIN-FILM ELECTRODES

Abstract Micro-area photocurrent responses of CdSe thin film electrode modified with 1,1′-dilinolene ferrocenyl LB film were studied by the scanned laser spot method. The improvement of photocurrent response in multilayer LB film modified electrodes under surface pressures of 20 and 30 mN m −1 was quantitatively analyzed and compared with the bare electrodes by statistical calculations. The acceleration of electron transfer at an illuminated CdSe Fe(CN) 6 4− interface by the mediation of modified molecules is discussed.
