Imaging of Rowing, Canoeing, and Kayaking Injuries

2016
Rowing and sculling are increasingly popular sports with active participation from the early teens to the 90s for both genders. An understanding of the mechanisms of injuries with their imaging appearances occurring while training for competitive and recreation of rowing is important to coaches, radiologists, and sports medicine professionals. This chapter explains injury characteristics in various anatomical locations and the role of multimodality imaging in diagnosis and management of injuries.
