DSP based active power filter with predictive current control
1995
This paper presents a static power convertor active power filter based on a DSP controller with enhanced performance of current control. A novel predictive current control method is introduced to compensate the phase error of harmonic components due to discrete sampling. With a close coordination between the reference current prediction, PWM pattern generation, and control timing, high performance control is achieved. Experimental results show that the developed system gives satisfactory performances in its harmonic/reactive power compensation.
