The utility model discloses a rim driving system of a pure electric vehicle. The rim drive system of the pure electric vehicle comprises a motor power assembly and a wheel half shaft, wherein the motor power assembly is fixed to a suspension rack and formed by a connection between a motor and a speed reducer; the wheel half shaft is used for being connected with wheels; the motor power assembly is connected with a wheel half shaft; and the motor and the wheel half shaft are located on the same side of a speed reducer. According to the rim drive system of the pure electric vehicle, the motor and the speed reducer are connected to form the power assembly which is connected with the half shaft; the motor and the wheels are arranged on the same side of the speed reducer, and accordingly a rim power assembly system structure is formed; a brake assembly is avoided in the X-axis direction, so a brake of the whole vehicle does not need to be developed again and an original brake of the vehicle can be directly used; the brake is good in universality; meanwhile, space of more than 300 mm is reserved for avoiding the brake in the X-axis direction and is enough for holding the motor; the motor fills the space, so the whole power system fully makes use of space of the vehicle in the width directly; and a larger gangway width can be obtained.
