Mechanical analysis of the elastic buckling of an orthogonal anisotropic circular conical shell under uniform external pressure

Abstract Elastic buckling of an orthogonal anisotropic thin-walled circular conical shell under uniform external pressure is studied, and the elastic instability coefficients are given. The critical load formula is presented and the approach of analysis and the results are discussed.
