Determination and analysis of taxanes content in the branches of different Taxus species.

2010
The contents of taxanes in branches of Taxus chinensis var.mairei,Taxus chinensis Rehd.and Taxus cuspidata Sieb.et Zucc were determined and analysed by HPLC after optimization conditions. The results showed that the content of taxanes of Taxus cuspidata Sieb.et Zucc was highest(0.427 mg·g-1),that of Taxus chinensis var.mairei(0.396 mg·g-1),and that of Taxus chinensis Rehd.was lowest(0.350 mg·g-1);taxol content of Taxus chinensis var.mairei was the highest(0.153 mg·g-1),that of Taxus chinensis Sieb.et Zucc was higher(0.142 mg·g-1),and that of Taxus chinensis Rehd.was the lowest(0.0102 mg·g-1).This method compared the contents of 3 kinds of taxanes(10-deacetyl-baccatin Ⅲ,baccatin Ⅲ,Taxol)detected through the same chromatographic condition, which lay a foundation for developing and making use of Taxus resources.
