Optical glass with a negative anomalous partial dispersion / short flint special glasses

The present invention relates to optical glasses, in particular short flint special glasses (KZFS) and optical elements and components that comprise these glasses, as well as their use and a method for producing such optical glasses. The optical glasses of the present invention are characterized by a pronounced short flint character and also by an excellent transmission and chemical resistance and workability. Here, glasses according to the invention may characterized by lower production costs due to reduced raw material and process costs, by their handelbaren in small melting units crystallization properties, as well as by good environmental compatibility.
