Numerical Simulation of Flow Field and Temperature Field in Slab Mould

According to the practical case of subermerged entry nozzle used in a steel factory,FLUENT software is used to simulate 3D flow field and temperature field in slab mould.In addition,this paper analyzes the distribution of flow field and temperature field in detail.The simulation results indicates that the section with parameter of 220mm×(1 350～2 300)mm is not suitable for the entry nozzle used in the factory.
