Influence of line current raise on physical fields of 180kA aluminium reduction cells

The technology of line current raise is very important to improve the capacity of installation and economic benefits of aluminium corporations.According to the experiment on 160kA pre-baked cell with intensified the line current again in Qinghai Aluminium Company of CHALCO,the states of thermal balance,voltage,magnetic and velocity in metal of three aluminium reduction cells were measured.Among the three cells,two of them were the tentative cells whose current was intensified from 180kA to 190kA,and the other one was regarded as the contrast which was operated at 180kA.Then the measured data are analyzed in this paper.The corresponding methods are put forwarded to the problems after current were intensified again.The results show that the aluminium reduction cells will operate stably when its current is raised to 190kA.
